At Buhl Baptist Church, we're always excited to welcome new guests. We like to use the word guests, rather than visitors. The word “visitor” implies somebody that is temporary. A “guest” is a special person, regardless of his or her status. You are special to us! We hope you'll join us for a service soon! We want to make your visit comfortable and offer a pleasant environment.
Here's what you can expect when you come:
Our Sunday morning service is at 10:00, and our church is located just off Hwy. 140 in Buhl, Ala. We are directly across the street from Buhl Elementary School. Our address is 11964 Buhl School Road. If you have special needs, there will be someone available to assist you when you arrive.
Please don't worry about what to wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God’s house as they are. You don't need to dress up to get his approval. Such approval came through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. While a few people might dress formally, many wear blue-jeans.
When you walk in, there will be a greeter near the door. The greeter will show you everything you need and answer questions.
Take a moment after the service to meet new friends. You'll have a chance to meet our pastor and other people from the church. We'd also love to establish a relationship so that you feel as if you are among friends.
